Hi everyone.
As you may or may not know, we've recently moved in to our house
here on Keyt Way, in Cotati. So being that this is our first Halloween
here, we thought we'd go "small" for the first year and work our
way up from there. Included here are pictures from previous years
of
doing the haunted house thing at the previous house. Not every
year did we take pictures, but every year it got better. 2001 was
our biggest year with over 350 visitors and with $1 voluntary donation,
we raised $172 for the Marin Humane Society.
This year, 2004, though we weren't intending to do any donations, our
neighbors Cliff and Sherry made a donation as well as someone
else, of whom I didn't get their name. We wanted to sincerely thank them
for their
generosity.
Unfortunately, in 2002 we didn't do a haunted house, and boy did we hear about it from the neighborhood. It turns out that because of that situation, not many kids and adults showed up for trick or treating. In 2003, we did a "scaled down version" but the turnout was lower than previous events. We think that people didn't know we were back on track.
This year, we'd like to thank Burgess
Lumber for being helpful in the lumber area. Incase you're one of "those",
NO, they didn't do anything special for us, except take note
of what we are doing, and therefore saved us money by offering "throw
away's" instead
of us paying for premium wood. it was a great help.
If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to ask by emailing me or just stopping by. We hope to see you here on the 31st!
Here's a first. For those who actually "took their time" in the last room of the haunted house, noticed a TV and camera in there. Here's a few of their actions, on the Videos Page.
Thanks for looking,
-Jim
